About The Artist

Born in New Orleans in 1972, Jared Osterhold is a master artist known for his versatility across multiple disciplines. A lifelong resident of the greater New Orleans area, he discovered his artistic talent early and has been creating professionally since childhood.

After graduating from Brother Martin High School, Jared earned a scholarship to Loyola University, where he obtained a B.A. in Visual Arts. His early experience included painting Mardi Gras floats and sculpting props for a local production company. This hands-on work laid the foundation for a dynamic career in art, design, and illustration.

Following college, Jared contributed to large-scale sculptural installations for the Audubon Zoo, the Aquarium of the Americas, and Harrah’s Casino. By 2000, he expanded into illustration and graphic design, producing & work for advertisements, packaging, promotional materials, and product designs. His murals, decorative props, and costumes have been featured in Bourbon Street clubs, local businesses, and on television shows such as NCIS: New Orleans, Storage Hunters, Bar Rescue, and The First 48.

As an accomplished illustrator, Jared has been represented by Wilkinson Studios and has illustrated over 20 books in the acclaimed OLIVIA children’s series for Simon & Schuster. His work also appears in publications by HarperCollins and McGraw Hill.

Since 2017, he has owned and operated his own signature art gallery in the French Quarter, where he showcases and sells his distinctive New Orleans-themed artwork.
